Real World Jr. High

Junior high years are crazy! One hour I’m knee-deep in Legos or Barbies, the next I’m playing football against guys who shave or cheering with girls who shave (their legs, we hope – LOL).

Real World Jr Hi is for students in 7th through 9th grades. We meet in Graceland on Wednesday nights from 6-7:15 p.m. after the GAP meal. There’s a worship band of and for junior highers if you’re interested.

So at Real World Jr Hi, we’re a little crazy too. On purpose. We play some crazy games, tell strange jokes, give away weird prizes, and have odd titles to messages that help us deal with the day-to-day issues of junior high life. We talk about basics like fear, growing up, and family relationships. We also deal with tough stuff like alcohol, sexuality, and being real about our faith in a mixed-up world. We teach by a variety of ways, using GAMES, SMALL GROUPS, CREATIVE ACTIVITIES, MOVIE CLIPS, and MORE to drive home truth in an enjoyable way.

You can ALSO watch out for “Real BIG Worlds” where jr and sr high students gather for a theme-based night of worship, giveaways, small groups, and a message relevant to faith-seeking and faith-developing teens. These are every eight weeks or so.

AND… watch for special events that happen basically once a month.
