| Ok.
Look. Senior High is allegedly the ‘best years of our lives.’
And in many ways it can be and is, but… There’s the whole drug
and alcohol scene to deal with. There’s these pressure decisions about
college or career – gotta get this application in by Thursday and
this could make or break my dreams. Geez. Coupled with ‘hooking up’
and Friday’s Chem test, it’s all just a little much sometimes.
Oh…and my faith life, yeah, that.
Real World Sr Hi meets Sunday
nights from 6 to around 7:30 or so. It includes some time to hang out
talking informally with friends and peers, some worship time led by other
senior high students, prayers, and a discussion and/or talk about a topic
related to the day-to-day of student lives.

AND…
watch for special events that happen basically once a month.
If you have questions or ideas
about how Real World Sr Hi can be better, more real, or great for you,
please email Pastor Phillip @ uthguru@gracethechurch.com.

So Real World Sr Hi
feels less like school and more like ‘Dr. Phil.’ We talk about
those issues head-on and honestly. Sexuality, relationships, habits –
they’re all ‘on the table’ to work through and hear
about. Our goal is to send you out of Graceland every Sunday night with
a little bit of encouragement, a piece of connection with Christ, and
something to ‘chew on’ spiritually to push through the week
a little more real about putting together faith and real life.

You can ALSO watch
out for “Real BIG Worlds” where jr and sr high students gather
for a theme-based night of worship, giveaways, small groups, and a message
relevant to faith-seeking and faith-developing teens. These are every
eight weeks or so.
